Revision

When it comes to comparing both the final paper and the rough draft, major revision were made during both peer review and attending the writing lab in the library. Specifically, both the introduction and the ending didn't change at all. When it came to the body paragraphs, details within the narrative story had to be made in order to make the story more appealing. When it came to grammar, I tend to have a lot of run-ons, comma splices and fragment sentences but with the help of the writing lab, I was able to determine what I was missing in each of my sentences. In most of my sentences, some specific descriptive details were added so that the sentence brought up that description that occurred on that day to make the narrative story appealing. After revising, I did tend to have a lot of grammatical mistakes only because my routine is just to free write and then fix everything else after revising. What guided me to revise my work was when I attended the writing center and the tutor was going through my rubric and found out that I had key important parts missing in my story. After both tutoring sessions, I decided to revise my story until I had every main point in my rubric on my paper. I think the strongest part of my paper was the beginning. It really brings out the whole story and it engages the reader.
